TinyProxy is an open-source, lightweight web proxy application that is designed to increase online privacy, security, and anonymity. It runs on most Unix-like operating systems, including Linux, BSD, and macOS. TinyProxy allows users to send and receive web requests through a secure and encrypted tunnel, masking their IP address and location. It also provides basic caching features to reduce bandwidth usage, and can be configured to block certain websites or content. TinyProxy can be used as an intermediary between a computer and the internet, which prevents any third-party from seeing the user's web details. It also helps bypass network blocks, filters, and firewalls, allowing users to access content that may otherwise be blocked or restricted.
