Se ve bien, funciona bien (y en muchas plataformas) pero hay un inconveniente que me hace sentir incómodo al usarlo: las etiquetas no se almacenan en ningún tipo de base de datos porque están almacenadas en el nombre del archivo. Esto significa que cada vez que etiqueta un archivo ¡su nombre de archivo cambia! Si esto no es un gran problema para ti, ¡dale una oportunidad!

Software realmente prometedor, pero ... Lo lleno con 7658 archivos y luego agrego algunas etiquetas personalizadas en 2 archivos. El software comenzó a ser realmente lento y consumió más de 1 GB de RAM. La función de búsqueda de etiquetas parece funcionar solo en la carpeta seleccionada actual y no hay recursión. En mi opinión, no es realmente útil. Muchas ideas buenas, pero no puedo manejar miles de archivos.

No es solo un administrador de fotos (como Picasa), o simplemente un wiki local (como Zim), sino que hace fotos, archivos de texto y fragmentos web guardados. En ese sentido, está más cerca de Evernote que de Picasa, pero es local y se enfoca en etiquetar archivos en lugar de tomar notas. Que hace todo lo que no parece interferir con el uso de fotos. Las etiquetas se guardan en el nombre de archivo, no me gusta esto. Esto es muy subjetivo, pero creo que se ve muy bien. Eso no significa que la interfaz sea buena, sino todo lo contrario. Hay métodos abreviados de teclado, pero es muy deficiente o no es obvio cómo hacer la mayoría de las cosas fácilmente. Enviando el cuadro de diálogo de etiquetas, por lo que puedo decir, tiene que presionar cuatro pestañas cuatro veces o usar su mouse en lugar de algo simple como Ctrl + Enter.
También carece de elementos que son universales y funcionan en casi todos los programas, como hacer clic, pulsar Mayús y hacer clic para seleccionar un rango. Estos son solo ejemplos; TagSpaces carece de controles importantes o los tiene pero son contraintuitivos, en cualquier caso, UX deficiente. Ya estoy buscando algo más.
