Star Citizen is an ambitious space exploration, trading and combat simulator game developed by Cloud Imperium Games and Roberts Space Industries. The game is set in a massive, sprawling universe made up of eight star systems. Players take on the role of a space traveler and explore and interact with the various planets, moons, stars, and other celestial bodies of the universe. Players can customize their ships, hire a crew, and engage in a variety of missions, such as trading goods, transporting passengers, completing contracts, and engaging in space combat. The game also features an expansive player-driven economy and a strong emphasis on community. Star Citizen also includes a robust single-player campaign, as well as a number of multiplayer options.
