sliMpd is an open source, lightweight and highly extensible music player daemon (MPD) server application. It was created to provide an easy-to-use, low maintenance and robust solution for music playback. The server application runs on any Linux, Unix, Mac, or Windows platform and provides a web-based user interface for controlling the playback of music. The user interface is designed to be intuitive and simple to use, allowing users to control the playback, browse music directories and playlists, and search for songs. sliMpd also includes a powerful playlist editor, allowing users to create their own custom playlists. Additionally, users can access their music library from anywhere in the world, as long as they have access to the sliMpd server.
