Sipdroid is an open source mobile VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) application that enables users to make and receive voice calls over IP networks such as Wi-Fi and 3G. It can be used as an alternative to traditional mobile phone networks, allowing users to make cheaper or free calls. Sipdroid supports a variety of codecs, including G.711, G.729, iLBC, GSM, and AMR-NB. It also features advanced features such as call forwarding, call waiting, and call recording. Additionally, it supports integration with Google Voice and Skype. Sipdroid is available for both Android and iOS devices.
