Shadowrun Returns is an isometric, turn-based role-playing game based on the classic Shadowrun tabletop game. It was developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive and was released on July 25th, 2013 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, iOS, Android, Ouya, and Nintendo Switch. The game is set in a dystopian cyberpunk future, where magic and technology exist side-by-side. Players take on the role of a Shadowrunner, a mercenary hired to take on dangerous missions. They will explore a large world, complete missions, level up their characters, and customize their character's skills and equipment. The game features an extensive character customization system, allowing players to customize their characters with a variety of cybernetics, magical abilities, and weapons. Players will also be able to build their own campaigns with the included level editor. Shadowrun Returns is a highly acclaimed game, with positive reviews from critics and players alike.
