Readability is a web and mobile app designed to help users discover, save, and share content from around the web. It provides a clean, distraction-free interface to read articles, books, and other content. The app is free to use, and users can easily access content from multiple sources. Readability allows users to customize their reading experience, selecting fonts, sizes, and colors to best suit their preferences. It also features a news feed, which provides up-to-date news articles and other content in one location. Additionally, it provides access to a library of books and other content, allowing users to easily find and read material they’re interested in. Readability also includes tools to help users save articles and books for future reading, as well as to share content with friends.
does not convert easily Saves web pages, not reformatted text.
The Pocket article view is exactly the same as the readability functionality.
Readability is not a bookmark service. Pocketing is. I just want something to clean up what I'm reading in the browser without saving it.
The pocket was intended as an alternative to bookmarks, not as a reader of any kind.
Inoreader is an RSS reader. It is not really an alternative to readability.
Like Readability but open-source, you are in control of your data. Much needed in those times when online services are suddenly shut down.

Pocket is an alternative to bookmarks, the readability makes web pages easier to read.
