Description

Rdesktop is a free and open-source remote desktop protocol (RDP) client for connecting to Windows-based computers. It is a command line tool for connecting to remote systems over the internet. It allows users to access the graphical user interface (GUI) of another computer from their own computer, allowing them to view and control the desktop of another machine as if they were physically present at that machine. Rdesktop can be used to access applications, files, and printers on a remote Windows computer, as if the user were sitting in front of the remote machine. It supports a variety of features, including clipboard sharing, audio playback and recording, printing, and file transfer. Rdesktop is available on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, and can be used to access Windows-based resources from any platform.
