Orca Screen Reader is an open-source, free software application that provides computer access to those with vision impairments or reading disabilities. It reads out text on the screen and interacts with the user to provide a range of features, such as magnifying text on the screen, changing font sizes and colors, and providing spoken feedback when the user works with menus or other Windows applications. Orca Screen Reader also has a built in web browser to allow users to access websites and the ability to access online services such as email, chat, and social media. In addition, Orca Screen Reader can be used to access documents like PDFs and Word documents, as well as providing access to applications such as Microsoft Office.
