Online Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a technology that allows users to extract text from images, scanned documents, and PDF files. It works by recognizing text in an image or scanned document and converting it into editable text. By using Online OCR, users can quickly and easily convert various types of documents into digital formats, enabling them to edit and store them online. With Online OCR, users also have the ability to search for documents quickly and accurately, as the software can read and recognize words within an image or scanned document. Online OCR is used in various industries to help streamline processes and improve accuracy, such as in the legal industry, where attorneys use the technology to quickly review documents for accuracy and relevance. It is also used in the education sector to help make textbooks and other materials more accessible to students.
