OmniWeb is a web browser developed by The Omni Group for Mac OS X, iOS, and iPadOS platforms. It is based on the open source WebKit engine and features features such as tabbed browsing, ad blocking, and built-in search capabilities. It also includes an integrated RSS reader and bookmark manager, and provides support for a wide range of plugins and extensions. OmniWeb also includes a unique "Site Specific Browser" feature which allows users to customize the look and feel of websites they visit. The application also allows users to create "Snippets" which are small customizations that can be quickly applied to any website. Additionally, OmniWeb offers a range of privacy options, allowing users to control how they are tracked online.
Discontinued The project seems to be no longer developed. The latest version, 49rc, released in October 2016, can still be downloaded from SourceForge.
