Octopi is an open source, cross-platform package management system for Linux distributions. It also provides an easy-to-use interface for managing and tracking repository changes, resolving dependency problems, and updating system packages. PAMAC is better designed and has some very handy features that are missing in Octopi, such as showing the history of installed/removed packages and the ability to tell it to ignore updates for some packages. I suggest watching some YouTube clips to get an idea of which interface is easier to use, I prefer PAMACs.

Pamac y Octopi son las dos formas de interacción gráfica con pacman, el gestor de paquetes en las distribuciones Arch y Manjaro Linux. Ambos son excelentes, pero Pamac es probablemente el más fácil de usar por un pequeño margen. Octopi viene con la versión KDE Plasma de Manjaro; Pamac con XFCE, Mate y otros entornos de escritorio derivados de GTK.
