Si la seguridad es su mayor preocupación, NoScript es un buen complemento. Puede configurarlo para permitir o denegar el acceso a sitios web a su computadora como lo considere oportuno. El inconveniente es que de ninguna manera es conveniente. Tiene que hacer manualmente la lista blanca de todos los sitios web cuando intenta acceder a ellos por primera vez. Puede haber media docena de opciones de direcciones web (o más) que surjan y algunas de ellas pueden ser necesarias para que las funciones de la página web funcionen correctamente o podrían ser basura que realmente desea bloquear. Los nombres de dominio pueden ser útiles para decidir cuáles son cuáles, pero no siempre hay una forma de saber cuáles se deben incluir o rechazar en la lista blanca sin algún ensayo y error. Usé NoScript por un buen tiempo, pero finalmente me cansé de jugar con él cada vez que visitaba un sitio web nuevo, así que lo eliminé.
Simplemente no valía la pena la molestia para mí.

Este script puede protegerlo de cosas malas en Internet, pero también rompe todos los sitios que visita. Si desea "Permitir" 3-4 dominios diferentes en cada sitio que visite solo para permitir que las cosas funcionen correctamente, esta es la extensión para usted. Realmente debería funcionar en una lista blanca de dominios que se actualice desde una fuente central, como Adblock Plus. Forzar a cada usuario a crear su propia lista blanca, que es un 99% igual a la de cualquier otro usuario, es una enorme pérdida de tiempo para todos. Además, los autores de NoScript utilizaron técnicas de malware para deshabilitar Adblock Plus en sus propios sitios, simplemente para ganar dinero.
