LibreJS is an open source software application designed to help developers ensure that all of their JavaScript code is compliant with the Free Software Foundation’s (FSF) guidelines on software freedom. The application scans websites and webpages for any JavaScript code that might not be compliant with the FSF’s guidelines. If any code is found, the application will prompt the user to either delete or modify the code in order to make it compliant. LibreJS also allows users to create and manage a blacklist of websites that do not comply with the FSF’s guidelines, preventing any third-party code from running on those sites. By using LibreJS, developers can ensure that their code is free from any restrictions imposed by third-party code, allowing for more creative and innovative development.
