Description

NetStumbler is a wireless network discovery and troubleshooting tool. It is used to detect 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks and can be used for wardriving, detecting rogue access points, and troubleshooting wireless network coverage and configuration issues. Its features include signal strength readings, an integrated GPS, and a variety of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools, including packet sniffing and a wireless network site survey. NetStumbler is available both as an application and a website. The application is available for Windows, while the website provides access to a community of users and a library of Wi-Fi related information, including maps and a variety of research and analysis tools.
