NetStumbler is a wireless network discovery and troubleshooting tool. It is used to detect 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks and can be used for wardriving, detecting rogue access points, and troubleshooting wireless network coverage and configuration issues. Its features include signal strength readings, an integrated GPS, and a variety of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools, including packet sniffing and a wireless network site survey. NetStumbler is available both as an application and a website. The application is available for Windows, while the website provides access to a community of users and a library of Wi-Fi related information, including maps and a variety of research and analysis tools.

Very similar interfaces and functions. Still working with newer Windows versions and products, it has been recently updated. NOTE: Some antivirus may detect it as a virus due to the intrusion mode of this type of tools.

Acabo de intentar descargar e instalar Network Stumbler. Vino con un gran conjunto de descargas de malware, incluido un agente activo descargador. Parece que pretendía ser un abridor de zip. No se solicitó ningún permiso, y no se presentaron opciones para excluirse del software extra.
