NCache is a distributed in-memory caching solution designed to accelerate the performance of .NET, Java, and J2EE applications. It helps developers to cache their data in memory, allowing them to reduce latency and improve performance in their applications. NCache also provides features such as replication, partitioning, and failover capabilities, enabling applications to scale and remain highly available. NCache also provides an API for developers to create custom caching solutions. NCache is also highly configurable, allowing developers to customize the caching layer for their own applications. It can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or as a hybrid solution. NCache is used by many organizations for their mission-critical applications.
Redis can run on Windows (https://github.com/MicrosoftArchive/redis/releases) and Linux based systems. NCache is only for Windows .NET. And we have a combination of Linux / Ubuntu systems.
