Linuxbrew is a package manager for Linux and Unix like operating systems, based on the popular Homebrew package manager for macOS. With Linuxbrew, users can install, update, and manage packages from the command line, in a very similar way to how Homebrew works on macOS. It supports both binary and source-based packages, and provides access to a wide range of open-source software. Unlike most package managers, Linuxbrew is designed to be easy to install and use on any Linux or Unix-like system, regardless of distribution or version. Linuxbrew also allows users to install packages which are not available in their system’s official repositories, and compile them from source.
