Sunbelt Personal Firewall is a firewall application that provides users with additional security and privacy protection for their computers. It offers users a comprehensive set of features to protect their systems from malicious activity and unauthorized access. Sunbelt Personal Firewall monitors all incoming and outgoing network traffic, and provides users with the ability to create rules to block specific types of traffic. It also includes a built-in intrusion prevention system that detects and blocks known malicious attacks before they can cause any damage. In addition, it provides advanced logging, alerting, and reporting capabilities, as well as support for VPN and remote access connections. Finally, it also includes a secure file sharing feature that allows users to share files securely with other users.

Suspended on October 10, 2005, Symantec Corporation acquired Sygate Technologies, so Sygate Personal Firewall has been replaced by an advanced "Smart Firewall", available from Symantec's Norton Internet Security. Sygate Personal Firewall can still be downloaded from Tucows.
