KeeFox es un plugin para Firefox. Habla con KeePass, el administrador de contraseñas. Usados juntos, hacen un excelente reemplazo de código abierto de LastPass, especialmente en Windows y Linux. Cómo funciona: si usa KeePass para administrar sus contraseñas (que recomiendo) y Firefox como su navegador (que recomiendo), puede instalar KeeFox, que es un complemento de Firefox. Luego, todas sus contraseñas e inicios de sesión estarán disponibles para usted desde el navegador, incluidos los formularios de llenado automático al iniciar sesión en sus cuentas en línea. La funcionalidad / conveniencia es similar a la de LastPass, Dashlane o 1Password, con la única diferencia de que su biblioteca KeePass se almacena localmente. (Aunque puedes sincronizar eso con tu servicio favorito, como quieras).
Lo bueno: Keefox le da a KeePass la integración del navegador. Es gratis. Es de código abierto, por lo que puede inspeccionar el código. Lo malo: solo Firefox (aunque para la privacidad en línea, Firefox es el mejor) No funciona bien con Mac (aunque puede lograrlo a través de Mono.
