Realmente me gusta su simplicidad y la interfaz de usuario limpia. Hay solo 3 elementos de diseño con los que puede interactuar: área de texto, calendario y búsqueda. El área de texto admite notas de texto sin formato (sin Markdown) que se guardan al cambiar a una nueva fecha o al usar las teclas de acceso rápido Ctrl + S. El formato de salida para las notas es .txt, lo que significa que puede leerlas en cualquier dispositivo sin quedarse atascado con un sistema de diario en particular (con su propio formato de notas único). Además, el formato .txt hace que la importación sea una función no necesaria, ya que puede crear notas en su editor de texto favorito y Journee las agregará a su calendario al resaltar la fecha correspondiente. La búsqueda no es instantánea pero funciona muy bien. Lo único que falta, pero puede ser útil, es el cifrado o la protección de contraseña.
