Description

IPsec-Tools is an open source suite of applications and utilities used to deploy and maintain IPsec VPNs. It is based on the KAME/racoon IPsec implementation and includes various tools for managing, monitoring and troubleshooting IPsec-based VPNs. The tools provide an easy to use front-end for setting up IPsec connections and include support for IKEv1/IKEv2, IPsec-NAT, IPsec-over-GRE, and X.509 (PKIX) certificate-based authentication. IPsec-Tools also includes a powerful set of command line tools for configuring and managing IPsec connections and policies. With IPsec-Tools, network administrators can securely connect two or more networks and protect their data from unauthorized access.
