Por lo que yo sé, esta red de superposición anónima ha recibido pocas auditorías de alguna fuente confiable. Son lentos pero meticulosos en sus ciclos de desarrollo. Tal sistema no es tan fácil de configurar como el navegador Tor, pero es tan fácil de configurar inicialmente. Se lo recomiendo a los académicos, a los desarrolladores que deseen ayudar ya aquellos que simplemente sienten curiosidad. (Nota al margen: este proyecto se ha incluido en TAILS, o The Amnesic Incognito Live System, que probablemente garantiza cierto valor inherente a la privacidad y el anonimato que las personas pueden lograr con este servicio / programa). La idea de que puedes ir a un sitio web, sin poder descubrir quiénes o dónde están, y, a la inversa, sin que te puedan identificar, es absolutamente increíble. El ecosistema de I2P, en mi breve exposición a él, es funcional pero extremadamente Lento y poco fiable, incluso en comparación con Tor, que tiene algunas propiedades similares. También el sistema de libreta de direcciones y los servicios de búsqueda parecen un poco torpes. Espero que esto mejore a medida que más personas comiencen a involucrarse y usar el sistema, porque se siente como un paso importante hacia la libertad en Internet.
