HTTPScoop is an application (or website) designed to allow network administrators to quickly and easily inspect the secure HTTP (HTTPS) traffic passing through their networks. It is designed to provide users with a comprehensive view of the HTTPS communications taking place on their networks, including client and server IP addresses, certificate information, and the encrypted data being sent and received. HTTPScoop also allows users to debug HTTPS traffic, inspect cookies, view headers and response codes, and replay requests. This can be used to troubleshoot problems with secure websites, find misconfigured certificates, and detect malicious activities on the networks.
Discontinued The project is no longer being developed. The latest version, 0.8.14.1, released in May 2014, is not compatible with Firefox, but the extension still works in XUL-based Firefox forks such as https://alternativeapp.info/software/waterfox/ and https://alternativeapp.info / software / palemoon /
