Hemingway Editor is a web-based application and desktop program that helps users improve their writing by providing an easy-to-use interface to help them identify and fix common writing issues such as overly complex or long sentences, overuse of passive voice, and use of jargon. The app also provides real-time feedback on how to improve clarity and impact, and enables users to share their work with other users for further feedback. The app also offers a range of features such as a “readability score” to gauge how easy it is for readers to understand a text, a “word count” to help users keep their writing concise, and a “style guide” to help users write in a consistent and professional manner.

Like Hemingway, he highlights aspects to consider when trying to figure out how to shorten your text or improve your writing style. It's not just about word processing or grammar.

I have yet to test it, but it meets my requirements.
Discontinued The program is no longer updated. The latest version, 2.4.4, released in October 2012, can still be downloaded from the official website.
It's amazing, but you have to pay to see if you have a passive voice and some other things. but it's really amazing. Oh, and it won't tell you to capitalize things. which I don't like.
