Description

Gtkam is a digital camera and image manipulation application for GNU/Linux and other Unix-based operating systems. It is based on the GTK+ toolkit and allows users to take pictures from digital cameras, retouch them, and share them with others. Gtkam features an intuitive and user-friendly interface, and provides a variety of features for organizing, editing, and sharing digital photographs. Gtkam provides basic image editing capabilities such as red-eye reduction, cropping, auto-enhancement, and more. In addition, users can apply various photo effects, such as sepia, vignette, and film grain. Gtkam also supports the popular JPEG and TIFF image formats, and allows users to export images to various web-based photo-sharing sites. Gtkam also supports the Ethernet-based PTP/IP protocol, allowing users to transfer images from their digital cameras directly to their computers.
