Description

Google Authenticator is a two-factor authentication (2FA) application developed by Google, which provides an extra layer of security when accessing online accounts. It uses the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) algorithm to generate one-time passwords (OTPs) that are unique and only valid for a short period of time. Google Authenticator can be used to protect a wide range of online accounts, including Google, Dropbox, Facebook, and other popular websites and services. With Google Authenticator, when logging into an account the user must enter their username and password, as well as an OTP generated by the Authenticator app, thereby providing an extra layer of security. The app works on both iOS and Android, and can be easily set up and used.
