FSlint is a free, open-source file management application and software that helps users keep their systems organized and efficient. It provides users with a wide range of tools to help them analyze, clean, and optimize their system. FSlint is designed to locate duplicate files on a system and then remove them to free up disk space. It can also scan for empty folders, unused files, and other unnecessary clutter that can slow down a system. It also includes a built-in file browser for quickly and easily navigating through the system, as well as an advanced search feature for finding specific files. Finally, FSlint also provides users with a configurable interface for managing their system settings, as well as an automated backup feature for protecting their files. Overall, FSlint is an excellent tool for keeping a system organized, clean, and running efficiently.
fslint checks the file system (fs - lint) and also detects duplicate files and replaces them with, for example, hard links: that is not a function of ccleaner (from the description), I use fslint on linux and am looking for an alternative for window boxes.
Awesome duplicate finder! Works with wine, too.

Bundleware: the software tries to install Avast too: Spyware, runs in the background and collects information to send to Avast. Background mode can be disabled, but is re-enabled on every run: occasionally displays pop-up ads throughout the system
