Description

Flatpak is a universal package management system for software distributed across multiple Linux-based operating systems. It is an open source software framework developed by the GNOME project, and is designed to provide a single, unified way of distributing, managing, and updating applications across a wide range of Linux-based systems. Flatpak works by creating a sandboxed environment for each application, allowing it to run in isolation from the rest of the system. It also provides a secure mechanism for updating applications, as well as automatic background updates. Flatpak also provides a number of features for deploying, configuring, and managing applications, including support for customizing application settings and user preferences.
