Recientemente instalé la versión de prueba de eDoc Organizer Home, versión 4.6. Inmediatamente me gustó la idea de poder indexar todo y luego encontrar cosas utilizando etiquetas (etiquetas), tipos y otros filtros. Eso era lo que estaba buscando para empezar, proveniente de iDocument en Mac. La interfaz está un poco desordenada para mi gusto y no es extremadamente fácil de usar IMHO. Por ejemplo, se podría mejorar la agrupación por tipo de archivo o etiquetas. Además, la clasificación mediante la creación de la fecha no funciona correctamente (la fecha indicada no es la correcta). Tampoco estaba muy contento de tener que pasar por páginas de miniaturas en lugar de simplemente desplazarme hacia abajo todo el camino. Sin embargo, lo que REALMENTE no me gustó fue la carpeta de 30 gb que eDoc creó para "indexar" mis carpetas de documentos de 30 gb.
Me doy cuenta de que probablemente solo copió todas mis cosas en su propia base de datos, o algo así. No hace falta decir que eso no era aceptable para mí. No solo por el espacio, sino también porque no pude averiguar cuál era la conexión entre los documentos "reales" y los documentos almacenados "eDoc", si es que realmente existe una conexión. Vale la pena evaluar, pero tenlo en cuenta. Si busca un programa que pueda indexar todos sus archivos sin tener que moverlos, eDoc no parece ser la opción correcta.
