Description

DN42 is an open-source, peer-to-peer VPN network. It is based on the networking principles of Internet Protocol (IP) and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing. DN42 is a decentralized and self-organizing network, connecting sites in an ad-hoc fashion without any central authority or operators. It is used by individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations to securely and reliably connect their networks, regardless of the underlying physical infrastructure. DN42 provides a range of features that make it ideal for interconnecting networks in a variety of scenarios, such as for secure remote access, for creating private networks for a distributed organization, or for providing redundancy and load-balancing for existing networks.
