Description

CopperheadOS is an Android-based mobile operating system developed by Copperhead Security Inc. It is designed to be a secure and privacy-focused alternative to popular mainstream mobile operating systems such as Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. CopperheadOS is based on LineageOS, an open-source variant of Android and is built from the same source code. It includes a variety of security and privacy-oriented features such as verified boot, application sandboxing, enhanced filesystem and network security, and cryptographic software updates. Additionally, it comes with out-of-the-box support for open-source and privacy-enhancing services such as Orbot and the Tor network. CopperheadOS also offers a secure default configuration and opt-in access to Google services.
