Confluence is a web-based collaboration and team productivity software platform developed by Atlassian. It provides an enterprise-level collaboration platform for teams to share ideas and collaborate on projects. It enables teams to create and manage content, including documents, wikis, and databases. It also provides features such as workflow automation, content collaboration, security, and integration with other tools such as JIRA and Slack. Confluence is designed to facilitate collaboration, streamline communication, and facilitate content sharing across teams. It is used in many organizations as a way to facilitate collaboration and communication among teams.
Editor and layout are much nicer than Confluence. We use it both as a knowledge base and for taking notes every day. It's super transparent to the whole team, syncs automatically, with a subtle update/activity model that doesn't interrupt your workflow.
Ultra easy to use, perfect for all equipment imo
Super reactive equipment, new features released every 2 weeks, super simple!
Easier to use and on board your equipment on it. It's really beautiful compared to Confluence. + The ability to share and keep content updated is much more powerful. our team loves it!
Slite has made it very easy for us to share project documents, knowledge and notes. The collaboration features are easy to use and it's easy to see what your team has been doing.
A fast and clean knowledge base.
Makes documentation in teams much more collaborative.
Collaborative and easy to use for teams: documentation is best kept up to date by all.
I have been using Slite with my team of 15 people since its launch in October 2017 and we switched from Confluence!
A more modern version of Confluence and the knowledge base in general: it is easier and more collaborative :)
Modern and simple tool for sharing knowledge.
One of the applications I use daily at work with my team along with Slack.
Really easy to get equipment on board
So easy to use with your computer and create beautiful content, and keep it well organized.
Much faster to work and share information across your computer.
Very light in characteristics compared to Confluence.
Slite is much more modern with a neat interface, bright ux and a smooth way to share notes across the team. It's very easy to manage the permission right. Just give it a try.
I just discovered it with its mobile launch on product search in December. I loved the design at first and loved the ux and collaboration features while using it with my team. If you're still in confluence, it's worth a 1000x try.
Quick response UI and easy to create checklists, etc.
I like that it is lightweight and much faster to work with.
It's like a modern version of Confluence. It does the same job but is much less messy. It makes documentation fun.
It does the same job but much easier to use! Real-time collaboration works much better too.
Excellent WYSIWYG design. Fast responsive user interface, it's a pleasure to navigate through your wiki and fill it. It's like a breath of fresh air after a bulky and overcomplicated slow language confluence :)
Beautiful user interface compared to the Confluence crowd :)
Focused on the essentials, fast search and load times, frictionless editing and collaborative experience.
The simplest knowledge base / wiki tool available, simplest form of navigation, intuitive user interface and transparent organization.
Simpler, faster and easier to share content and collaborate.
Fast user interface, checklists, great tool!
Nuclino is much more collaborative and easy to use. Lightweight without unnecessarily complicated features.
Much less cluttered and easy to use. Real-time editing makes it easy to update documentation without version conflicts.
Fewer unnecessary configuration options than Confluence and, as a result, much easier to use.
Everything is editable in real time by default, which eliminates a lot of friction that Confluence has. It feels more collaborative.
Not as oversized as Confluence, which lets you do a lot, but none of it well. The search and edit experience is very frictionless in Nuclino.
A much stronger focus on collaboration. Every page can be edited in real time like Google Docs, everything can be edited by default and saved automatically. No versioning conflicts and low barriers to content contribution.
Rapid lightening compared to confluence.
Ultra-lightweight wiki with a much stronger focus on real-time collaboration.
Much easier to get equipment on board and contribute to the wiki, the learning curve is minimal.
It is much simpler than Confluence in every way: design, navigation, formatting, configuration. In general, it speeds up the whole process and makes on-boarding equipment much easier.
As if Marie Kondo was going to redesign Confluence.
Confluence is slow. Working in Nuclino is much faster, the whole experience is frictionless.
It is free and reliable. The interface is a bit outdated and not so easy to set up and use, but overall it is a good alternative.
Bookstack is completely free and also has a WYSIWYG editor.
Provides similar functions and look & feel.
Plone is a content management system (CMS) focused on Web site creation, while Confluence is a content collaboration software focused on project collaboration and teamwork.
Once you reach a lot of files that manage security, workflows and outdated content become chaotic, and you need many plugins for confluence as well as jira, and it still doesn't work, a simpler solution that worked for us is Documize.
It is a free and simplified version of the confluence.
Slite is easier to use: it removes all the clutter of knowledge sharing to make it a simple experience for the whole team. The real-time editor is extremely fast and the search makes it easy to retrieve the right information.
