Después de probarlo con tres videos aleatorios que tenía alrededor de mi computadora, decidí que la capacidad de reproducción de video de CineXPlayer era "aceptable". No es compatible con MOV (videos de Apple), e hizo un muy mal trabajo al reproducir un video corto de 720p que tenía. Sin embargo, su reproducción de un AVI de definición estándar fue fantástica. CineXPlayer reprodujo mi video AVI con una calidad de imagen casi completa; es el mejor resultado que he obtenido de cualquier aplicación de reproductor de medios hasta ahora. Supongo que es por eso que originalmente fue anunciado como un jugador AVI.
