Belarc Advisor is a free software program that provides detailed information about a computer system's hardware and software configuration. It is mainly used to generate a detailed report of the computer system's configuration, which can be used to resolve software and hardware compatibility issues. It can also be used to detect and remove outdated software and hardware components from the system. Belarc Advisor can provide information about the installed operating system, software and hardware, networking and security settings, and user accounts. It also includes information about hotfixes, security updates, and other software patches that have been applied to the system.
Belarc extracts more than just the system hardware specifications that CPU-Z displays. System software, applications, security patches, etc.
Belarc reports on software, while speccy only shows hardware information and some data about the operating system, but not about applications and licenses.
