ANNO is a series of city-building and real-time strategy video games, developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft. The series began with Anno 1602 and has since seen seven sequels and one spin-off, with the latest title being Anno 2205, released in 2015. The games in the series focus on creating and managing a settlement on a series of small islands, with each game presenting new technological innovations, game mechanics, and story elements. Players begin by constructing their settlement on a small island, with the goal of increasing their settlement's population and wealth.
