AdiIRC is a free Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux systems that allows users to communicate with each other via text-based chat. It provides both a graphical user interface for easy access to IRC networks, and a powerful scripting system for advanced users. AdiIRC supports many features typical to IRC clients, such as multiple server connections, direct client-to-client file transfers, chat logging, and DCC chat and file transfers. It also offers features such as SSL encryption for secure connections, multiple language support, a customizable user interface, and an auto-updater for keeping the client up to date. AdiIRC also has integrated support for popular IRC networks such as freenode, EFnet, QuakeNet, Undernet, and DALnet, as well as custom networks.
