Xpadder converts joypad input (and joystick, steering wheel, etc.) to keyboard or mouse output. X360ce converts similar input to XInput output, allowing recent games (which presume Xbox controllers are all there is) to work with the other hardware. But it won't be useful for games that don't have joypad input to begin with, and don't have such an advanced remapping system.
