Saurik, el fabricante de Winterboard, dice que Winterboard solo usa alrededor de 2 MB de RAM mientras se ejecuta. Sin embargo, cuando realmente aplica un tema a su iPhone, el uso es mucho mayor. Por ejemplo, sin ningún tema ejecutándose, mi iPod Touch 4G tiene 128 MB de RAM libre después de un reinicio. Sin embargo, con el tema principal de BlueBird HD y sus temas adicionales que se ejecutan en Winterboard, mi iPod solo tenía unos 100 MB de RAM después de un reinicio.
