VBA-M (Visual Boy Advance-M) is a free, open source, cross-platform emulator for the Nintendo Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance (GBA) video game consoles. It is based on VBA-rr, a version of VBA that supports rerecording, which is the ability to record a movie of gameplay and then play it back. It also adds a number of features that have been requested by users, such as a better keyboard mapping system, support for up to 8 controllers, and a higher resolution display. VBA-M also has a number of debugging features, such as breakpoints, assembly tracing, and a memory viewer. VBA-M is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
Discontinued The project is no longer being developed. The latest version, 1.8.0 beta 3, released in October 2005, can still be downloaded from FileHippo.
