Umbrello is a free and open-source Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagramming application, which is useful to software developers, engineers, and analysts. It is available on the KDE platform, but can also be used from a web browser. It enables users to create diagrams of software and other systems in a variety of graphical formats, including class diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, activity diagrams, component diagrams, and deployment diagrams. The diagrams can be exported as image files, PDFs or SVG diagrams. Umbrello features a comprehensive and intuitive graphical user interface for quickly creating, editing and managing diagrams. It also supports a wide range of UML 2.x standards, as well as the ability to reverse engineer source code and create documentation. Additionally, users can store their diagrams in a central repository, allowing them to easily keep track of changes made to their diagrams. Umbrello also provides a range of tools for creating code from diagrams, generating reports, simulating diagrams, and importing and exporting diagrams to other formats.
