Warning This software was previously clean, but the official website is now linking versions with a malware Cryptocurrency miner that will use computer resources while hidden in the background. It will also use internet data and could make users check their internet plan, costing them money.
You can set the exact time to dim the screens, just like Twilight, and it not only adjusts the color, but also dims the brightness of the screen. Two things the main competitor, Flux, doesn't do.
It looks technically better ... it alters the gamma curve of the screen instead of just overlaying a semi-transparent filter like most others.
You can reduce the brightness of the screen. as far as I know, f.lux cannot reduce the brightness of the screen.
