Tusky is an open source Android and iOS app that allows users to connect with friends, family, and colleagues through secure messaging, audio and video calls, and other features. It is built on top of the Mastodon social network, a federated social platform that is decentralized and open-source. Tusky is designed to make communication easier and more secure by providing a range of features including private messaging, group chats, file and image sharing, and audio and video calls. It also allows users to create and join communities, as well as follow people and read their posts. For added security, conversations are encrypted and users can add two-factor authentication. Tusky also features a built-in dark mode for more comfortable nighttime use.
