TranscriberAG is an open source tool for the automatic transcription of audio and video recordings. It is designed for the automatic transcription of multimodal corpora (audio, video, and text) with an emphasis on spoken language. It is developed in the framework of the French National Research Agency (ANR) sponsored project Transcription Automatique pour la Parole et le Langage (TAPAS). TranscriberAG provides a graphical user interface for the manual transcription of audio and video recordings. It also provides a set of tools for automatic transcription which include speech recognition, language identification, and speaker identification. It also includes a set of tools for the manual annotation of audio and video recordings such as tagging, segmentation, and alignment. The tool is cross-platform and can be used on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux operating systems.
