Tinder is a location-based social search mobile app that facilitates communication between mutually interested users, allowing matched users to chat. It is most commonly used as a dating app, but has branched out to provide more services, including job searching and business networking. The app is designed to be simple and intuitive. A user is presented with potential matches based on their preferences, and can either swipe right to like a potential match, or swipe left to pass. If a match is made, the two users can start a conversation. Tinder also provides other features such as the Super Like button, which allows a user to let another user know they are particularly interested in them, and Boost, which allows a user to get more exposure for their profile. Tinder is available as a free app for both iOS and Android devices.
