Synergy is a cross-platform, open-source software utility used for sharing a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers on the same network. It allows users to control multiple computers from one keyboard and mouse, and to share files and clipboard contents across all the computers on the network. Synergy also supports drag-and-drop of text, images and files between computers, and works across platforms from Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is used by many businesses and professionals who need to control multiple computers from one keyboard and mouse.
It is fantastically easy to use, although only on Windows computers, so it is not always an alternative to Synergy (which I am using now, because Linux ...).
