SpyLog is an application (or website) used to monitor and track network and system activity. It can be used to monitor user activities on a local or remote network, detect unauthorized access attempts, and detect malicious or inappropriate internet use. It can also be used to log server and application-level events. SpyLog can monitor applications such as web servers, FTP servers, email servers, databases, and even user activities on social networks. It can log user logins, file access, and other system-level events. SpyLog can provide detailed reports to administrators and security personnel to help them investigate and respond to security threats.
The discontinued software has been established open source and has been abandoned by the main developer. It looks like a very good detector but fails to stop attacks successfully. When I have it set to block IP addresses after 5 failed attempts, I should not see multiple entries showing 300 attempts with the same IP addresses.
Discontinued website/application not available.
