Uso SmartGit desde hace casi 2 años y es un gran producto. Lo que supe, lo que aprendí los últimos días es que tienen un gran soporte. El equipo de soporte me ayudó mucho con un problema que tuve después de actualizar java en mi PC. Tuve un problema al extraer Bitbucket con https y pasaron horas conmigo arreglando el evento, aunque tengo una licencia no comercial, así que solo podrían decir, ir a comprar una licencia y luego lo apoyaremos. Cómo me gusta a la gente de este programa está más allá de mí. Es como la pesadilla de TortoiseGit, ya que está construido alrededor de varias capas de ventanas que muestran información redundante y diferente, lo que hace que encontrar lo que necesita sea increíblemente torpe y poco intuitivo. No puede desproteger una confirmación desde la vista de diario, tiene que cambiar a la vista de revisión. Oh, hay un conflicto. No puede manejarlo en la vista de Revisión, tiene que volver a la vista Principal. Además, a pesar de lo "lleno de características", carece de una funcionalidad muy básica disponible en todos los demás clientes de Git, como simplemente abrir un archivo en el editor de texto predeterminado desde el menú del botón derecho.

Si usa la versión gratuita no puede deshabilitar las comprobaciones de actualización. Y, por alguna razón, el programa "expira" después de cierta fecha (como si hubiera tenido una crisis de identidad y decidiera que no era un cliente de Git sino un cartón de leche). Cuando ha "caducado" (no dejaré de usar comillas alrededor de esa palabra), por supuesto, funciona igual de bien que antes, pero ahora comienza a molestarlo para que actualice la información demorando la puesta en marcha en 30 segundos. A menos que esté utilizando una aplicación cliente / servidor que requiera absolutamente una actualización para que funcione, la decisión de actualizar se debe dejar al usuario.
