Description

Sekaiju is an open-source, free application for Windows and Mac OS X designed to allow users to create and edit music scores and MIDI files. The application is comprised of a piano roll, mixer, and notation editor, and allows users to create, save, modify, and play MIDI files. The piano roll editor allows users to design and edit MIDI notes, while the mixer allows users to mix the MIDI tracks. Finally, the notation editor allows users to view and edit the notes in traditional notation. Additionally, Sekaiju features a metronome, a drum machine, a virtual MIDI keyboard, and various settings for customizing the interface. Sekaiju can also be used to export audio files in various formats such as WAV, AIFF, and MP3.
