Description

SchemaCrawler is an open source database inspection tool that enables users to quickly and easily retrieve detailed information about their database schemas. It is written in Java and provides a command line interface, a graphical user interface, and a web user interface. The tool can extract detailed information such as table and column names, column data types, primary keys, foreign keys, and stored procedures. SchemaCrawler can also report on database privileges, such as which users have access to which tables and columns. Additionally, SchemaCrawler can generate database diagrams, and can export the database information in a variety of formats, including HTML, plain text, and XML. SchemaCrawler is available on all major operating systems, including Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.
