RamDiskUI is a software application (or website) that allows users to create and manage virtual memory disks (RAM disks) on the computer. A RAM disk is a type of virtual disk drive that stores data in the computer's random access memory (RAM) instead of on a physical disk drive. This can provide faster access times than a traditional disk drive as it bypasses the hard drive as a data storage device. RamDiskUI allows users to create, manage, and delete RAM disks, as well as configure settings, such as the size of the RAM disk and the file system used. It also provides performance monitoring, allowing users to track the performance of their RAM disks.
The last discontinued version, 1.0.4096, was released in November 2008, but can still be downloaded.
